In order to meet their continuously evolving security demands, one of the busiest and most innovative European airports has selected CrucialTrak’s BACS™ readers as part of their solution. BACS™ (Biometric Access Control System) will alleviate the current limitations of biometric access control by utilizing multiple modes of completely touchless biometrics including Face, Iris, Palm-Vein and Fingerprint recognition all in the same device. One of the problems solved by BACS™ is the resolution of chronic hygienic issues caused by touch-based biometrics in addition to improving throughput and accuracy issues of single-mode biometrics. The airport project is based upon the consideration of several multi-biometrics solutions and CrucialTrak BACS™ was selected to initially be tested at the demonstration facility for VIP lounges and other applicable areas. CrucialTrak is entering the airport access control segment with its' new strategic partner who is an expert in the field of airport automation based on extensive experience with high-profile airport projects.
