Terrible tax proposal under consideration: When U sell a stock in which you have positions purchased on multiple dates, U will be forced to sell on a FIFO (first-in, first-out) basis.

In other words, we won't be able to trade shares of stocks in which we have long positions.

THIS IS CRAZY.

People who live in States with Republican Senators: Please call them to complain about this.
