Good post Xpecht.

I believe you have accurately described the situation. And I agree with the vision indicated by your post. The truth is that the Stem/Regenerative Medicine space is in diapers right now, just like Operating Systems were when DOS was invented in the early 80s. But those with genuine vision recognized that a Tsunami was in the making, and that a thousand industries were about to be created on the shoulders of this "newfangled" idea.

Fast forward to 2017 and the Stem Cell/Regenerative Medicine space. Naturally the FDA must find a way to reconcile Big Pharma with this new, promising, and rapidly growing new space. But Big Pharmas's "treatments" are the equivalent of the big mainframes of the sixties and seventies when computer cards were processed by those dinosaurs.

Now we have a new industry that is literally going "viral" with innovative science that can lead to CURES, not just perpetual treatments at $500/month for a medication. Disruptive? You better believe it!

Like every new industry it is carried by a few daring pioneers who will go about their work even as the short-sighted scoff and ridicule.

No-brainer is right. Let the fools try to stop a Tsunami with a raincoat and umbrella.
