That is indeed the risk here. If the ICO launches by 1Q 2018 as announced the stock price will indeed react, and thereafter news coming out that the offering was a success and Digatrade becomes liquid north of $18M then she will surge. Every week that passes Bitcoin gets more and more attention and traction. The chances of a successful ICO here are extremely high due to the mania surrounding Bitcoin. The timing of this ICO couldn’t be better, and will give Digatrade working captial for operations without diluting shareholders. By years end Bitcoin can be over $10,000.

“CME Group, the largest exchange group in the world, announced Tuesday it would aim to roll out bitcoin futures. And Cboe, its cross-town rival, also has bitcoin derivatives in the works. Futures are contracts that allow two parties to exchange an asset at a specified price at an agreed upon date in the future.
The launch of bitcoin futures by establishment exchanges is likely to open the door to wider participation in bitcoin trading. Most Wall Street trading firms are already plugged in to CME and Cboe, for example, and trade actively there.”

Every reason in the world for a public company to raise funds through an ICO verses all other methods. I believe we are seeing just the tip of the iceberg here with ICO’s. They are becoming very popular and for good reason, in which I believe there has been approx 600 of them thus far. Typically companies raise funds through discounted stock offerings, hedge funds, venture capitalists, banks, crowdfunding, etc. which each have their own upside, and downside but an ICO eliminates any debt, perks, and/or dilution. No other fund raising method for working capital can be compared.

“Startups normally raise money from venture capital or seed funds, from banks, or via crowdfunding. But recently, blockchain technology has produced a new possibility: initial coin offerings (ICOs), where instead of issuing equity, debt or perks, entrepreneurs launch a virtual currency, in the form of a coin or token.”
