To my understanding, the bought the patent for the chemical synthesis from the french. Then did the testing on their own and had the article in September 2012

They are not a billion dollar company, they were valued at a billion if the techonogy proves out.

They need the funding to move it forward. The story here is whether or not they get the funding at the 0.02 mark they are looking at. We will wait and see.
