Just to be clear, although TPL has accelerated their water sales in the last quarter, the "full service water business" that was announced, is more of a blueprint that will take time to establish. I am hoping that it will lead to larger quantities of their water being sold and in time may lead to water recycling and disposal. This is a big deal because it offers TPL an opportunity for the creation of a growth business under the TPL umbrella.
Keep in mind that the oil & gas producers in the area are very likely to be around for 10-20 years. They will need a vast amount of water to produce a huge amount of energy. Thus, TPL will benefit from both royalties collected and water sold and/or disposed of.
