Of course I was.

I don't think the low end of winter in North Carolina will be too much of a burden on any of the 4000 "props" featured in these greenhouses.

The history of hemp cultivation in Russia gives the evidence that low positive temperature is not a limiting factor for this crop cultivation....

....Plants in stage from seedlings up to budding easily tolerate frosts about -7° C."

That being said,

Monthly average temperatures are the coldest in January...

..Below are the coldest average highs and lows (which occur in mid-January) for Boone (located in the mountains), Raleigh (located in the piedmont), and Wilmington (located at the coast) which illustrates the amount of variation in temperatures across the state in winter.

· Boone:
Normal January high: 39.3°F; Normal January low: 19.6°F

·Raleigh:
Normal January high: 49.8°F;
Normal January low: 29.6°F

· Wilmington:
Normal January high: 56.2°F; Normal January low: 33.3°F

Seems like a pretty safe bet.

And have you ever stood under grow lights like those in that greenhouse? They get pretty warm:)

We might have to heat a little here and there.. but I don't think it'll be a problem.

Cheers:)
