Favorable1 - my thought on this is that these were just the prototypes for extensive field testing. They are not just building a single network extender like one shoe fits all but rather they are customized for each carriers network specifications. The coordination and logistics of this is where I believe Tushar Shah comes in with his extensive experience. But I'm sure each Telco has their stringent test requirements for different environmental conditions, component failures etc, and this will all of course take time. One of those press releases mentions that Vodafone had created a Build of Materials (BOM) with all the specifications that need to be met for anything that is shipped/delivered to them.

In that video from Samartha that you attached in a previous post he clearly says that the ROVR is only scheduled to be released in December. So I think both products have still been going through extensive field testing.
