Obviously, like the above patent, they are not the same patents as vplm's.

So does this then mean that many of them are invalid patents?


I'm not talking about the ones that are totally unrelated to vplm's patents, but obviously, all these many companies must have patented processes to operate the basic tenets of voip.

So either they are valid patented processes, which would mean they are legit, not infringing, or, they are somehow the same as vplm's.


If so, how did they get it?

What about all the vsp's that were operating before the vplm patents were awarded.

This whole thing stinks.
