TRUMP PROMISED $25,000 TO A GRIEVING MILITARY FATHER IN A PHONE CALL. HE NEVER FOLLOWED THROUGH.
Chris Baldridge, the father of Army Cpl. Dillon Baldridge, told The Washington Post that President Trump called him at home and offered him $25,000 out of his personal account a few weeks after his 22-year-old son and two fellow soldiers were killed in Afghanistan in June. He also directed his staff to establish an online fundraiser for the family, the father said. Neither happened.
