So what was the total deal with AIG. Did the government milk them for all their profits too? What was the bailout cost and what did the government get in return?

I hope someone answers this. I had AIG before their bailout started, and when all was said and done they gave ME some warrants - which I still have. I have no reason why they gave them to me. I think it was a consolation prize for the feds stealing most of the stock equity but am not sure.

Never took the time to look into that, because I made a ton of money off of AIG and was not motivated to look into it beyond checking my tax basis for those warrants. Maybe I'll make that a weekend project.
