Faith...that little but big word that so many folks struggle with. Why is that? We know that God is sovereign...He is in complete control of everything at all times. We know that nothing is going to cross our path without Gods approval. We know as believers that God always has our best interest at heart and He wants the best for us. Our Lord Jesus has promised to never leave or forsake us. We know the Holy Spirit...our helper... lives in us every second of everyday...So... whats the problem? Look folks...i know sometimes its hard when we keep asking for something and it seems like God just dont hear us although we know He does. I know sometimes in our human minds we grow impatient because we suffer from some circumstance and we just want it to be over. We know that Gods way and Gods timing is always perfect and the end result is what really is the best for us even though we understand not! Remember...God sees the big picture...He knows what awaits around every corner and over every hill...we dont. Faith is when we truly say...here Lord...i cant do this and without You im hopeless. We give our burdens....our sickness...our problems...we give them to God and we walk away knowing that in His time and in His way whatever is going to be is going to be and we accept that whole heartedly...without question...without doubt! And...we must remember to give Him the praise and glory no matter what the answer is. I believe the strength of our Faith is what draws Gods attention and helps sustain us in our most difficult times. Just like with Peter. He got out of the boat and walked on the water towards Jesus...however...when his faith started to leave him...when his focus went to himself instead of Jesus....what happened...not unlike today...folks give their burdens to Jesus at night and then get up in the morning and strap them right on their back once again and head out into yet another miserable day! Think about it!
