Great post. Yep, many people own guns. I used to shoot with a liberal gun group, a great bunch of guys, ones that were really good shots too.
One of my best friends that I truly enjoyed shooting with, one that has passed on was a very strongly liberal political guy, but that never got in the way of friendship and shooting together. Truly, it is not the gun, it is the gun usser.
Tools that kill can be found just about anywhere, some are lot more dangerous than the gun, and some are far more stealth than the gun. Just about anything can one used as weapon, some of the greatest weapons in history started out as simple farming tools.
Trying to rid the country or world of tools that can kill would be impossible, ignorant and never ending. Worst all, it does not deal with the problem which is crime and the criminal.
