That history and legal battle are fascinating. I agree that Ionis is a better potential partner; however, if BPTH's delivery system can work with Moderna's therapies, then they can resolve a lot of these problems by partnering with BPTH. That would solve our financing problems too.



BTW, I have no real scientific credentials other than a genetics course I took in college. I'm an attorney and I've been trading stocks for 20 years. I read a lot and make an effort to understand companies in which I invest. I'm glad that effort shows up in our conversations here.

Brett and GP are better able to explain things like the strength of our patent than I am. My thoughts on the patent question someone raised here are that it would likely be cheaper for a company to work with BPTH than to create a new delivery system together with the scientific and manufacturing expertise BPTH already has developed. I think the patent and the orphan drug status gives BPTH plenty of legal protection.
