But Paddock's brother said that when he was little, the family was "on the run" after Dad escaped from jail. I don't know how long that lasted, or even if it was true, but that is what he said.
Right now, I'm watching the episode of Designated Survivor--a good show--that I recorded last night. They're trying to stop the Bad Guy who blew up the Capitol and (almost) everyone in it from killing more people.
By sheer coincidence with respect to recent events, it turns out the Bad Guy had a father who was a criminal sent to prison by the Feds. The son, who eventually became successful and very wealthy, felt that had destroyed his family, and harbored resentment until he finally took action.
Makes ya wonder.
And what happened to Paddock's father in the end? Did he die? Did he go back to prison? We don't know enough about that, even though in a way, it's the most bizarre part of the story.
