Considering Uncle Sam hasn't figured out how to get paid, and previous judgments haven't been paid, Vuozzo knows he's not getting cash. On the other side, what value does a patent application have? Maybe $0.00? They have sought a patent for several years, and I suspect they are struggling with it because they are trying to patent something as common as dirt and air. Did Eco even go back and register their trademark when it expired? It was up for grabs in the US about a year ago (maybe 2).
I found the latest PR amusing as well. Takes us back to the Sandy days when Conboy was embedding quotes from Bloomberg and Christie in his PR's so it looked like they were referring to Eco.
If history repeats itself, and it always does with Eco, their late filing will be late as well.
