German website computerbase describes the technology behind autonomous driving inside the new Audi A8.

Sorry this is only in german language but so far the most detailed look inside the black boxes.

Audi don't have the green light to use it on the streets so far.
In germany there was the election one week ago.
But it seems to be a done deal when the new ministry of transport is up running.

All the source-code-certification-stuff and questions regarding the car insurance are close to being completed.
So there are SAE Level 3 cars on the road in February 2018 in germany.
