He said he helped get the Reg A together while at the same time marketing himself for employment. He may well have helped put something together, yes, but it doesn't mean he believes it will happen or be successful...

He had to put something on his resume. Two years of tinkering with drones and having nothing to show for your effort is not what potential employers want to see. Unfortunately Moller International is a company that that has quite a public profile. Potential employers may see that nothing happened there for more than a decade. Potential employers may see that the company has not delivered a single product ever. Not good for the ex employee looking for work.
