[0045] In various aspects, the operation of molten carbonate fuel cells can be integrated with a variety of chemical and/or materials production processes. The production processes can correspond to production of an output from the molten carbonate fuel cells, or the production process can consume or provide one or more fuel cell streams. The operation of the molten carbonate fuel cells can be described using configurational and/or parametric descriptions, which, in many embodiments, can describe operation of the molten carbonate fuel cells under steady state.
