God ALWAYS answers the prayers of His born-again children...in His time...and its always a "Yes"..."No" or "Wait"...and "wait" is often the hardest for us because we can often be impatient!...but...its the truth of the truth because as we know...God sees the big picture...what we see as great can in reality be the worst thing ever 6 months or 2 years down the road. God loves for us is truly beyond what we are able to understand and God desires to grant our requests when our request "are in keeping with His will"...not our will but His be done...ALWAYS!...and when it comes to answered prayer and blessings...our walk...our surrender...our obedience..our FAITH...is key. God knows if we are just talking the talk or actually walking the walk...Right? However we have to keep in mind about prayer...anytime we are living outside of Gods will...we are NOT in fellowship with Him...prayer can go unanswered in the sense that God is waiting on us to get our heart and mind in alignment with Him...and blessing can stop coming our way while God waits on us to get back on the path of righteousness. Now..none of us have walked on water...we are all going to sin from time to time...but its most important that all of us evaluate our walk to some degree every day to make sure that we are walking that walk and not being deceived by satan and our own flesh and doing it our way. As i always say..."i can not live the christian life...i must let Jesus live His life thru me"! So no..im not contradicting myself...when we are in fellowship with God answered prayer and blessings are the norm...when we are doing life our way thru sin...the well can dry up until we get it together and put Jesus first and foremost in our life once again!
