sadly, i got stuck. didn't see the news til 16:03, a few minutes too late to flip my NVDA calls to puts.
my calls will prolly be no-bid today into tmrw exp, so a total loss.
did you get out in time?

but i do agree with GuTA that buying the NVDA dip could be profitable.
trick is, knowing when it has finally bottomed.

NVDA has soared to epic heights on hype about its chips being one-stop shopping for the future.
the TSLA/AMD news, while only one sliver of potential future business,
undermines the notion that NVDA is the dominant player in their field.

if investor confidence crumbles, amid the specter of fed bond unwind starting next month,
NVDA could tumble 10-20% before it finds footing again.

that said, very risky to short it, too.
as the market could fall in love with it at any time.
to point, after tanking under 180 in AH last night,
it started trading in pre @ 184 this morning.

already back down to 181 after 20 min of pre,
but no telling where the market will drive this beast.

99.99% of all pinks are scams. Best to assume the other 0.01% are as well.
