The problem with VLDI like most penny stocks are that most view these investments like a lottery ticket, either they win or they lose it all. So if they do not see results in a few years they simply write it off as a bad investment.
One can argue that investors should not look at daily charts because they do not show the real potential of VLDI, but that is usually a bad argument, especially if it is used to justify staying in a declining priced stock like VLDI.
