In the criminal world prosecutors can choose what cases to pursue. If there is a whiff in a bk proceeding of some irregularity, it has to go to a DA's office and they have to decide if they want to devote resources to an investigation to determine if the law has been broken. And then to pursue it.

Unless a DA thinks there is a good sized trophy here, from whatever notoriety edig got about 20 years ago in the markets, this is not Enron or Tyco or Equity Funding or Bernie Madoff.

A better bet would be, if there are legitimate concerns here about violation of fiduciary responsibility, to bring them to the local press which has covered edig off and on for some years and see if they will investigate and bring the facts to light.
