Yes your right, more communication from a Ceo would be nice, but with real-life companies, the Ceo is busy running the Company daily, and short on hands,
that he actually forgot the shareholder.

The size of the organization may determine the CEO's job duties.
The CEO for a small business with limited resources or staff is likely to more more hands-on than the CEO for a mid-size company or a large corporation.

Sometimes it helps to send an email to the Ceo and let him notice that the shareholders are real people. I also do that regularly.
