Sometimes we can let the situations that are meant to strengthen our relationship with God have the opposite effect.
We get in a place mentally where we can’t stop thinking about how hard things are, how unfair God is being towards us, and that this is how things are gonna always be or I don’t want to live like this anymore.
We wind up getting entangled. And in doing so, we give short term problems long term positions in our lives. Because we do not have a complete understanding of the plan of God, and we run off of our feelings.
David said,“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.” (Psalm 23:4) He said walk through, not abide in! Every valley in your life came to pass, it’s not your destination.
You may be in a valley right now; the valley may have you thinking this is it for you. But it’s not - that valley came to pass, so don’t assign it a permanent place in your life. The feelings you may be feeling came to pass, so don’t assign them a permanent place in your heart.
No matter what your feelings may be telling you about the situation, God want you to know that this too shall pass!
