I guess he didn't want to buy the Ruth Chris booze so he brought his own and had the bar back setup the mixers.
Is it against the law in LA to bring in an open container of alcohol into a bar? Just seems like if you are a distributor and you have the bar pouring your booze that hasn't been purchased for resale under your resale license or tax permit - that might be a problem, again just my opinion. I know when I talked to the Ruth Chris manager he seemed a little leery about the that showing up on social media and was going to check with Ruth Hospitality Group folks. I do not know if he did or didn't check, I guessing he didn't because the photo is still up on twitter.
