Have you ever reviewed when their patents expire? Most of their relevant patents are from the 1990s and they begin expiring THIS YEAR.

The sued the weaker ones already who couldn't put up much of a legal fight, but they are getting clobbered by Cisco, Symantec, FireEye, Palo Alto Networks and the ones who can match their attorney's patent expertise and have the capital to stretch this out for many years and bleed a lot of cash along the way. Did you see the trial date for Cisco? Not before 2020.

Filed today:
MOTION to Dismiss Unredacted Version of Cisco Systems, Inc.'s Motion to Dismiss Second Amended Complaint filed Pursuant to Court's Order Modifying Order Regarding Cisco Systems, Inc.'s Administrative Motion to Seal (Dkt. 65) filed by Cisco Systems Inc..

Cisco is killing them and Finjan clearly violated a nondisclosure agreement with Cisco and may be the one paying damages.

I spent over $300 last quarter on my pacer bill. I read a lot of court docs and Finjan has their hands full. Look for them to eventually get a case thrown out because they didn't file in a timely manner once they became aware of the infringement. Once this first case gets thrown out, their licensing revenue is done.

Every company not already sued should get together and say that all negotiations are closed. Sue us now or be barred in the future. It has been a fine line they have walked claiming they were "negotiating" for years before filing. I predict a case will be thrown out in the next 12 months because they didn't file in a timely manner once they were aware of infringement.
