Restrictions on Stock Specific Boards

I sent out a PM similar to below and then decided to share with everyone.

There's always been these silly conspiracy theories about Admin restricting only bearish or bullish Users.

This is the way it works - a Mod Squad member, or moderator or any user for that matter tells us a board is a mess and we go look at the volume (note I didn't say the actual deletions - just the number of them). If we decide administrative action may be warranted, then we review summary data for that board that shows the posters, how many posts they've made, how many posts have been deleted and restored, and percentages, how many Admin deleted, how many MS deleted and how many Mods deleted. We can view that for the defaults of 1/3/7/30 days or for any other time period.

There is NOTHING on that page that shows the content of the posts. We have no idea if a poster is positive, neutral or negative on that particular stock when looking at that page. And, quite frankly, we don't care. The rules and enforcement here are blind to investment sentiment or shareholder status.

All we want is for people to talk about the company/stock and leave other users and other off-topic content (ignores, bans, deletions, Mods, etc.) out of their posts. It's a very simple formula; users who do not want their posts and posting privileges to be removed need only omit off-topic content that will result in their removal.
