Who needs shares to be distributed and why? If you say 'to make a market, liquidity' I still don't get it. Who needs the liquidity and why should the company care about that?

I don't like for my shares to be diluted AT ALL. I see no need for it.

It's simply not true that all the shares are locked into strong hands. People will always sell if the price goes high enough.
