I've only skimmed some of the Sigma Labs iHub message board. I tend to agree with this recent post.

I'm absolutely NOT saying that Sigma Labs is out of the game but it's progress and commercial adoption has been extremely slow.
I am very encouraged that Arcam has high end hardware in their production machines being sold now and that they have been granted patent protection on it's use. That's huge.
