RE:SigmaLabs- possible industry leader for IN-PROCESS-NDT

So I've gone back and looked some more. The Sigma Labs iHub message board is and has been VERY active.

IN-PROCESS Non Destructive Testing will have and already has a huge impact on the exponential growth in the large scale industrial use of Additive Manufacturing. The Manufacturing Technology Centre's Technology Landscape PowerPoint presented at the Quality Control for AM Conference, 24-01-2017, seems to be a pretty good INDEPENDENT overview of the topic. If anyone can share something similar from another point of view I'd really appreciate it.

I've only skimmed some of the Sigma Labs iHub message board. I tend to agree with this recent post.

About Sigma Labs - "If this software had been successful, GE, being an insider in its development, would have bought Sigma along with those other AM companies GE bought spending billions. Sigma would have been chump change in comparison. But GE didn't..... "

I'm absolutely NOT saying that Sigma Labs is out of the game but it's progress and commercial adoption has been extremely slow.


I am very encouraged that Arcam has high end hardware in their production machines being sold now and that they have been granted patent protection on it's use. That's huge.
