Jeff, you are correct, Simes told me they decided not to go ahead with efficacy testing in the safety study, that they would do it at a latter date. However this directly contradicted the AJH article that was submitted after having 2889 of 3656 patients enrolled, which clearly states that efficacy was being measured.


I agree Jeff, if they announced the CV benefits they would have partners lining up to take over the new efficacy trials and continue to work the safety trial.
