Kira Reed will be hosting a new syndicated series spun-off from American Greed called Cremation Nation, wherein each week a different financial criminal is cremated. Bob Lorsch is the subject for Season 1, Episode 1. From Wall Street crooks like Madoff and Boesky to pennyscammers like Lorsch, Curt Kramer, and hundreds of others, the show will select one crook each week and in a 60 minute episode explain their scam(s), interview victims, and end with a cremation of the financial crook. In many cases, the crook will be deceased prior to the cremation, as in the case of Bob Lorsch.
Casting for Season 1 is underway, with auditions by Vincent Mehdizadeh and David Blech already in the can.
For pennyscammer episodes based on dilution schemes, the series will give new meaning to the phrase "diluted to dust" and the term "Asher Enterprises".
