The timing of the resignation is certainly strange, and the way it was done in such a cold bland email speaks volumes. I think Board of Directors have to approve all press releases and maybe Lyons did not approve of that press release.

But he has signed off on so many press releases that were hype it is odd that he changed course now, unless the latest press release was really a tall tale.
