NYT 18.40 - like so many others, this pos just keeps posting new yearly highs like every single day. They report Q2 on 7/27 premarket and their guidance is weak:

Growth in the number of paid digital-only subscriptions to our news products in the second quarter of 2017 is expected to be slower than the prior two quarters.

Total advertising revenues in the second quarter of 2017 are expected to decrease in the low- to mid-single digits compared to the second quarter of 2016.

Operating costs and adjusted operating costs are expected to increase in the mid-single digits in the second quarter of 2017 compared with the second quarter of 2016.

Plus this upcoming hiccie:

On May 31, 2017, The New York Times Company (the “Company”) provided a communication to newsroom employees with respect to a planned workforce reduction, a copy of which is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K. The Company expects to incur approximately $17 to $23 million of total charges in connection with this workforce reduction, with approximately $17 million to be recorded in the second quarter of 2017, and the balance, if any, to be recorded in the third quarter of 2017.

I'm considering loading up a sizable put position tomorrow. Anyone watching this pos?
