I know just about everything about GE. They are not in that great of shape. Downward slide ever since Welsh retired. Long long story on that. The company is to geared to treat upper management like gold, and to put a spin everything. They have more lobiest in Washington than anyone trying to get kickbacks. About 160. They cook the books, and not as interested as they should be to put out a good product, or to even make a profit sometimes. 2 years ago they did not have enough money on hand to meet payroll and had to take out a loan from a bank and Warren Buffet to pay it. It is a long story what is happening to their products. And their environmental spoof is a fasad. They polluted the Hudson River with PCBs and fought the state and government for 10 years, not wanting to clean it up. GE is a long story. 15 years from now they will be no more.
