After my survey response to Apple I received a call from the Apple Store management team yesterday.

There are no options to receive a working computer despite money not being an issue.

After telling Apple management that I was confused as to why a company with so much cash on hand can leave a great Apple customer without a working MacBook Pro.

They agreed.

They are trying to push me into a new computer for the same cost as the repair. However it will take 2 weeks minimum to get the new unit out the door.

I am still deciding on whether I am staying an outstanding Apple customer.

I just don't understand why they don't have parts and why it takes, at least, 2 weeks to ship a new but older model laptop.

I've been pro Apple like no one else since 1987.

Good bye Apple?

Maybe. Still digesting and pondering.
