It is, however there biggest mistake though for me was when they had all the injuries that they didn't call up rosario in june, when they could of possibly sparked the team. now that ship has sailed it makes sense to wait for august 1rst, and get rid of these guys via trade first.
as for flores, rivera did flores in, if you hit you deserve to play. rivera is hitting 305 since his callup, last year. My problem with rivera is we need to get him off 3b he can't play it. literally makes flores a gg there, and guess what he doesn't play it well either.
But at this point they are trying to trade cabrera and there is interest it seems you have to move him, if walker is back in the next couple of days, you have to move him. Can't do that if they are on the bench. Need to trade grandy, bruce, duda, reed. I would entertain offers on rivera and flores. I will trade anything that isn't nailed down. it is time to have flexibility we have tons of money available in the offseason, and with a hopefully healthy pitching staff next year we will be able to compete.
