He said that because he plans on holding his shares for many many years, and obviously wants even more shares at a lower price. When you bash your own company, it's called a "Dump and Pump". Manipulating the price lower with the objective of buying cheapies. D & P's are the stocks you want to own (at some point), although that doesn't necessarily mean that the time to own the stock is right now. I'm currently neither long nor short.
