There is a lot of cheap growing equipment on the market. A lot of growers are probably still using oldschool Gavita hoods. I think what Surnaman means is that updating their equipment may not be a priority for growers until they are either forced to through stricter regulations i.e. Product not passing QC testing or in order to reduce production costs and remain competitive. Therefore yes adoption of this type of equipment takes time and requires patience on the part of investors. I am still a believer in the long term as I think inevitably the industry will have to head in this direction.
