Seek The Light-
I have had expectations of the announcement before the AGM of some deals rumored to be in the works involving the "Wear Materials" technology (aka "RT-Lube Analyzer") that was developed with Castrol.
Since today is Friday, there is doubt that anything will be announced until next week-- the week of the AGM.
If no news is announced before the AGM, it will be upsetting to numerous shareholders since the company seems to go into hibernation (in terms of news releases) for months afterwards.
As I understand things...
The "Interwell Tracer" project with Chevron should have some news to release, since the field tests were successful. However, the decline in world oil prices caused Chevron to take a break last year with the project for a long 7 months, so there is always that possibility to consider.
The oil pan plug project with Flextronics missed last years production implementation date when the adhesive used by Flextronics failed the -40 degree below zero test for General Motors vehicles. I understand Micromem-MAST had nothing to do with this... it was a bad choice of adhesives by Flextronics and when a different adhesive was used, it passed the same test. However, all of the other tests had to be redone, and the technology was not tested in time to make the cut-off point for the model year. Cross our fingers that this will not be a problem for the next model year implementation.
I plan to attend the AGM this year (again), and hopefully will hear good news for Micromem-MAST. That would sure help the situation with the share price.
As for the recent high volumes, I noticed currently (10 AM on 14JUL17) that CDEL has a BID for 17,263 shares at 19 cents on the OTCQB, but also has a lower BID for 250,000 shares at 18 cents. Someone wants a lot of cheap shares. There are no large blocks of shares at the ASK (like NITE with 100,000 shares at 22 cents on Monday and INTL with 99,900 shares at 22 cents on Tuesday).
