WE HAVE BEEN IN THE SOLAR ENERGY BUSINESS SINCE SOLAR WAS IN ITS INFANCY. YOU MIGHT SAY “…WE KNOW SOLAR LIKE NOBODY’S BUSINESS”
The business is owned and operated by Norm Ehrlich a mechanical engineer since the 1960’s. The business was established in 1980 and as a contractor installed residential and commercial solar water heating systems, off grid and on grid photovoltaic systems, insulated thousands of homes and constructed more Four Seasons Sunrooms than we can remember.

We have operated our retail store at the same location on Broadway and Washington in Eureka for 34 years which makes us one of the oldest energy establishments anywhere with continuous ownership and location.
We don’t sell anything on the internet. We expect that most everyone will due some due diligence on the internet before contacting us. As part of doing due diligence we hope that shoppers will “spend the energy” to make an appointment with our engineer, free of charge, to answer your questions and concerns “eye ball to eye ball” and a chance to “kick the tires” as it were.

Our systems are designed specifically for our local climate conditions. Remember we not only have sold solar for over three decades but have installed and serviced systems longer than anyone. We know what works and what doesn’t. What equipment lasts and what doesn’t last and we will tell you why.

We offer the best financing available through our exclusive Title 1 lender. Title 1 loans are government guaranteed loans that have been around since the depression. Other lenders don’t want you to know about Title 1 loans because it makes them look second best with little exception. Since you will make your own electricity your monthly PG&E bill disappear completely and at the annual “true up” you will send a bill to PG&E for the surplus power you generated.
