Argument wise, you are trying to have it both ways.

our product pops on the shelf at six months in the "pro" reviews won't be in, nor will they matter to the avg drinker who wouldn't read them.

You argue that this is quality product, and then you argue that quality doesn't matter for Bellissima's target demographic.

If this was quality product, it sure isn't being marketed that way. The fact that Bellissima prosecco is DOC and not DOCG speaks volumes. I am 90% sure that this is rebranded wine sold for $8.00 per bottle in Europe.

The fact that Bellissima is competing with the mass market proseccos means that it is competing with proseccos 33-60% cheaper than it. That La Marca you sneer at is $10.99 at Costco- there is your price point expected by the market.

So Bellissima has a few Instagram photos the faithful shareholders look at over and over again. La Marca is in every Costco in the USA, as far as I can tell. I know which one I would prefer.
