Hi bigpike/Catchme/Gjervis...

I haven't posted here for several years - at least.

Thank you for the questions and information that you all raised regarding the tragic crash with the cargo ship. Pertaining to MKRS, my immediate thoughts and questions when I heard about the crash last weekend were the following:

1) Did this naval ship have MKRS'S technology installed on this particular ship? If it didn't, this seems like a tremendous opportunity for MKRS to justify further expansion of their technology into another area of Navy ships.

2) If the ship did have the MKRS technology installed, did it signal any malfunction in the radar systems that would have warned the crew members that some part of the radar was not functioning properly. If it did warn the crew, this would also be validation of the MKRS system - though why, if it did warn the crew, did they not divert the ship from colliding with the cargo ship. That is another unknown scenario.

3) Lastly, if the ship had the MKRS technology but did not signal any malfunction of the radar to the crew, that would not be good - obviously. I have owned MKRS since late 2003, and I find it hard to believe this would be the first malfunction we would have seen if the MKRS equipment was flawed or unreliable - but I guess that's what a glitch is, something unexpected. I guess anything is possible.

I am also assuming that I fully understand the way their technology works and functions. I have always been under the impression that their software is designed to let crew members know that the radar itself -
that being the "hardware" - is running correctly. Maybe someone on this board can confirm my assumptions, or help me to better understand - if I am wrong.

There are a lot of unknowns with this crash. However, even if the Cargo ship was on autopilot - as the article states - that doesn't (imo) change any of the scenarios I noted above. The worst part is going to be trying to get information about this from MKRS - much less clarity. We have trouble getting them to release PR's with seemingly great news like an IBM partnership or affiliation, so how tough is it going to be to get information regarding this.

After all these years of holding this stock, I truly felt - and still do - that MKRS was finally on the cusp of reaching its potential, and thus rewarding many extremely patient investors. The news of the crash has unnerved me, like getting an undesired result from an FDA Bio-tech drug trial. I am hopeful that the positive scenarios I painted above are what are in front of us as investors, but I have been around long enough to consider the negative possibilities.

Thus far the stock price has not behaved as if MKRS has any culpability - though I think it is too early to tell, since the investigation is still in progress.

Thank you for your patience listening to my thoughts.

Best,
Tod
