Hey EZ2, no I hadn't seen that one but I remember every year people getting swept off the piers and they never found the bodies.
Happened all the time like clockwork. Some idiot would walk out onto the pier during a storm and a huge wave would wash him or her off the pier and that was it. Sometimes they would wash up on the beach sometimes they wouldn't. They had to chain up and lock down the piers during violent storms so the stupid whackjob tourists wouldn't kill themselves.

Your article talks about Detroit and Grand Haven,MI.
It starts with this lighthouse.


Ironically this lighthouse is in South Haven 100 miles to the south of Grand Haven and is my hometown where I grew up...lol

Anyway I don't live there anymore I'm out west but I just thought that was pretty cool you posted that.
