Releasing positive news before a weekend would most likely cause a nice gap-up on Monday, and gap-ups are bad no? Everyone complains that gap-ups eventually have to get filled. Wouldn't it be smart to release news right after a regular opening to avoid a gap-up? Or since we've already traded up to 3.21, a gap-up really wouldn't occur until then?
