It is probably because we've had similar bills like the CARERS ACT in congress before and they’ve never materialized into anything more. If the CARERS ACT had an action date on it I would have taken it more seriously than something that is just for show!

I think Mexico legalizing medical mj this week coupled with Canada going recreational on July 1st 2018 next year is more of a talking point now! Because remember, Trump is all about the money! And to give two of his biggest Nafta competitors a head start in this multibillion dollar industry is unthinkable!
I wouldn’t worry about Jeff sessions right now; he is just a pawn in Trumps’ money game.
