phoenix....what would a portfolio manager say...

how much is your total portfolio? how old are you? is this a retirement nest egg? or are you young and trading to make profits? etc....many questions for an advisor. As a small biotech, its a risky investment, they always say DONT own more than you can afford to lose. I have to remember that too.
In my portfolio, the AVXL shares I own are at cost basis, 10% invested in AVXL, as profits in my total portfolio, AVXL represents about 40% of the portfolio value.

I'm sure a financial manager would not want folks buying more than 10-15 % in any small biotech or risky stocks, like junior gold miners, etc... They'd rather see you put the money into Amazon and Apple.
They don't know enough about the global economic chaos developing,or the fake stock market altogether.

and when the market comes Crashing down again, folks will be shocked like they were last time in 2008. It started collapsing in October 2007,and didn't bounce until March 2009.

I'm not a certified portfolio manager. I'm very uncertified. But Ive studied this stuff for about 10 years now,and I can manage my own. I cant really advise anyone here, nor should I, except to show my charts as I do, and hope that people only see them as a road map, and they have to decide for themselves where they want to buy and where to sell , or not to sell, or buy. My best charting collegue, STILL doesn't own any AVXL , and I cant imagine why not. Ive told him about it at least a year or two ago.

Perhaps what I need to do, in case there are a few folks who will take my lead in decisions, if I post a target zone to watch out for, places where I might buy and sell, I try to say it only to highlight the target zone. I don't care whether people buy or sell , its up to them. In a nice rally for AVXL, if it finally makes the kind of rally like what XBI has just done ...I'd be thrilled to take the profit at 7.50 like it should be....but that's not what happened to AVXL last week. so now its a tricky trading game. all over again. I explained why I will sell excess trading shares at the 5.80 resistance. That's good enough for me. It might have NOTHING to do with other investors portfolios. Everybody has a unique portfolio. IF they need help investing they have to go find a manager to help them or learn it themselves.
