biocqr--Good thoughts. The speed that GPS planting and harvesting on our farms took over from thought to actuality, I would not be surprised to see driverless cars picking us up instead of Uber and Lyft. I'd be in awe of it and amazed, but not surprised. Technology is going nuts. All of your thoughts would apply to driverless, only it would be even cheaper, and with traffic gridlock all over the US, it will be promoted and welcomed, but not problem free initially, IMO.
