More food for thought...

With on-demand cars there will be less need for parking. In big cities like Los Angeles, NY and Chicago probably a good amount of time is spent driving around looking for parking. Theses services should alleviate this wasteful activity.

Also, summoning a ride with a GPS/smartphone, ride sharing should be more attractive as it would lower the overall cost of these on-demand services.
