From the press release announcing Absolute Comics:

"These titles will be distributed through thousands of comic book specialty and book stores worldwide, beginning with the August 2017 Previews order catalog."

Technically the moment of truth won't be until October or November. August is when the first titles will be solicited through Diamond. Books generally don't ship until 2-3 months after they appear in Previews.

I have no doubt Benny will get the books into Previews, but shipping is another matter. REDG has previously solicited "Darchon", "Shadow Children", the "Markiplier " series and of course, the Giant Size line to retailers through Previews and none of those ever shipped to stores.

Also "Wayward Sons" was solicited as a stand alone title in August of 2016.
